Experience
Director of Brand Partnerships, Women's Magazine
New York
Business development and expansion
Built the brand partnerships function from the ground up in 2025, creating the revenue model, pricing and pipeline that fund the company's event and editorial calendar
Grew the event slate into an international season: St. Tropez Residency, Hamptons Residency, Surf Lodge Montauk, NYFW at Crane Club, PFW in Paris, Pacha NYC, and forward slates for Aspen X Games, Coachella and Art Basel
Expanded sponsor categories beyond beauty, fashion and spirits into consumer tech, AI, prediction markets, wellness, CPG, hospitality, travel, fintech and creator commerce
Created new revenue streams, including an ad-space program for tech founders, digital-only press rates for PR agencies, and no-cash hotel trade partnerships for room nights, on-property shoots and title placements
Structured tiered sponsorships from $5K placements to $100K to $130K featured partnerships, and negotiated title, presenting and exclusivity terms with brands such as Vestiaire Collective, Veenus, DAVIDE and Steve Madden
Built a five-year sponsorship pipeline aimed at long-term luxury groups such as LVMH, Richemont and L'Oréal
Operations and event production
Ran partnership operations across simultaneous events, managing venue relationships (Surf Lodge, Crane Club, Silencio, Boom Boom Room), talent and DJ bookings, gifting, contracts and delivery timelines
Scoped and budgeted brand activations per event, including ring-fenced content budgets, share-of-voice pricing and cost analyses
Coordinated guest lists, invitations and invite-only access with partners such as Contra, alongside the influencer and talent team
Managed partnership agreements from pitch to deliverables, including shoot schedules and asset delivery for editorial integrations
Marketing and brand
Positioned Women's Magazine as the first Gen Z luxury media brand (84% Gen Z and millennial readership) across all partner materials
Built and scaled the Icon Society talent network narrative (about 126M combined followers), featuring talent including Charli XCX, Cole Sprouse, Alix Earle and Coco Rocha
Supported social growth strategy with a goal of taking the Instagram account from about 31K to 100K followers, launching the WM EDIT content series, and building campaign carousels and social copy for events and exhibitions
Used cover and editorial assets (Mick Jagger, Teyana Taylor, Taylor Hill, Ellen von Unwerth productions) as headline marketing and sales tools
Outreach and relationships
Led cold and warm outreach to 300+ brands across luxury fashion, high jewelry, beauty, fragrance, spirits, hospitality and tech, including Chanel Beauty, Cartier, Dom Pérignon, Charlotte Tilbury, Loewe, L'Oréal and La Mer
Ran press and PR agency outreach in NYC and Paris (Purple PR, Karla Otto, KCD, BPCM and boutique agencies)
Built podcast and media partnerships and placed the founder as a guest on fashion and founder podcasts
Managed senior brand relationships through the full cycle, from first pitch to call to close to follow-through
Presentation and curation
Designed the master deck system behind every pitch, including a 40-page season deck, brand-specific decks (KHAITE, Diptyque, KITH, Ray-Ban, OUAI, Vestiaire Collective and others) and venue decks
Curated custom activations for each partner, such as newsstand bars, confessional booths, scent counters, styling suites, capsule drops and live data boards, fitted to each brand's goals
Built investor relations materials, reworking the live experiences deck to cover celebrity roster, event economics and the forward event slate
Infrastructure
Created the rate card, partnership tiers, deliverables framework and the Women's Magazine design system used across all brand materials
Built master outreach lists, contact databases and pipeline tracking across more than 20 categories
Standardized pitch, follow-up and deck workflows so the team could run outreach at scale
Advisor and equity acquisition
Sourced and brought on fashion-industry board advisors to strengthen the company's credibility and network
Supported investor relations and fundraising, including investor-facing decks and event economics
Negotiated equity, commission and IP terms in my own contractor agreement
